I’m Sharon Burrell, and I am the Secretary for Morriss and Mennie. Although I am based in Spalding, you will see me floating between all our branches!My roles within the organisation include administering all aspects of paperwork enabling Morriss and Mennie to run smoothly and efficiently!
I’ve been employed by Morriss and Mennie for 10 years so am certainly part of the furniture now! I originally started working for Morriss and Mennie when the Holbeach Office first opened but now divide by time between both Offices.

My role here is to help perspective purchasers find their ideal homes and assist throughout the whole process of their purchase through to completion. I am also here to assist our vendors in the sale of their properties, from arranging the initial valuation, to the completion of the sale and again in finding them a new home if necessary. It is very much a customer serviced based role. My aim is to ensure that all transactions through Morriss and Mennie go smoothly and that all levels of service are to a high standard.

My job is to offer professional estate agency services to our clients. I also Deal with all Vendors and Purchasers, offering a professional service in property sales, ensuring a smooth transaction for all parties involved right from initial viewings through to completion.
I have over 8 years experience in the local property market and 3 years prior to that working in a local solicitors in the Conveyancing department. I therefore have full knowledge of the complete transaction when buying and selling a property so you can be assured you will be getting the most professional service available. I am also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor, so therefore can arrange all Home Information Packs in house, keeping everything under one roof to make the transaction as simple and quickly as possible.

By dealing with a Member of the TPO, the public may be confident about the agent`s approach in its dealings with actual and potential buyers and sellers of residential property or lettings in the UK.
The Property Ombudsman provides a free, fair and independent service for dealing with unresolved disputes between sales and letting agents who have joined the TPO and consumers who are actual or potential buyers or sellers or landlords or tenants of residential property in the UK. The Ombudsman is a member of the British and Irish Ombudsman Association and follows the standards and rules of the Association. The Ombudsman is totally independent of agents and reports directly to the TPO Council which has a majority of non-industry members.
The Ombudsman`s role is to reach a resolution of unresolved disputes in full and final settlement and, where appropriate, he will make an appropriate award of financial compensation or other action for example make an apology. Therefore, if you feel that you have been disadvantaged by the actions or inactions of a TPO member, you have access to an independent dispute resolution service and can be certain of receiving a fair and reasonable judgment of your complaint.
